Jennifer Turner practices in
the areas of business law, taxation, estate planning, and probate.
A native of
Beaumont,
Texas, Jennifer graduated from Christian Heritage Academy
(formerly Beaumont Christian) in 1999 as valedictorian of her class.
Jennifer attended
Lamar
University where she
graduated summa cum laude with a B.B.A. in Accounting. While
at Lamar, Jennifer served as President of Beta Alpha Psi (a national
honor society in accounting and finance), Vice President of Beta
Gamma Sigma (a national honor society in business and management),
and President of The Accounting Society. Jennifer also received the
Ben Rogers Award and shared in the honor of receiving the Plummer
Award in 2003 for achieving the highest GPA in the college of
business and in the university, a 4.0.
Jennifer received her J.D.
degree from Baylor University School of Law in 2006 and was admitted
to the Texas bar in 2006.
While at Baylor, Jennifer served as Notes and Comments Editor of the
Baylor Law Review, as brief writer for the Baylor ABA Moot Court
team, and as a member of the Order of Barristers. Jennifer
received Best Brief Awards in the 2006 ABA Moot Court
Competition and in the 2004 Strasburger and Price Moot Court
Competition.
Jennifer received her license
as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.
Jennifer practices primarily in
the firm's office in
Beaumont.
