Our firm has substantial experience practicing before the Texas courts of appeal, Texas Supreme Court, and Fifth Circuit. We have successfully handled all types of proceedings before the appellate courts: traditional appeals, interlocutory and accelerated appeals, and mandamus proceedings. Our appellate lawyers work with our trial lawyers to brief, argue, and preserve for appeal material issues in the case at hand, including such matters as jurisdiction, venue, discovery, class certification, and class settlements. Our firm not only acts as appellate counsel in cases where the firm acted as trial counsel but also handles and assists in the appeal of matters tried by others.
