Michael Blakeney

Michael has experience in a broad range of civil matters, with an
emphasis on personal injury, premise and products liability, toxic
tort, contract and consumer/DTPA litigation, at both the trial and
appellate level, and has served as counsel for both plaintiffs and
defendants during his career.
Michael is licensed to Practice in Texas
and Louisiana, is a member of
the State Bar of Texas, the Louisiana Bar Association, the Jefferson
County Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association.
Michael is admitted to practice in all state courts in
Texas
and Louisiana, and in the Federal
District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas, and the Western and Middle District
Courts of Louisiana.
He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Texas A&M
University, College Station, and his J.D. from South Texas
College of Law, where he served as an associate editor for “Currents
International Trade Law Journal.”
Michael is married and the father of five children. He has a
passion for music and is active in the music ministry of St. Paul
United Methodist Church in Bridge City, Texas
Michael practices primarily in the firm's office in Silsbee.
