Funkhouser handles civil litigation cases in the areas of energy,
business, construction, labor and employment, and other general
litigation.
Ms. Funkhouser was admitted to practice in 2002 and is admitted to
practice before the State courts of Texas, the United States
District Courts in the Eastern, Southern, and Northern Districts of
Texas, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
She received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Kansas and a
Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of
Law. While at SMU, Ms. Funkhouser was a member of the National Moot
Court team.
She is a member of the Houston Bar Association, The Woodlands Bar
Association, Women’s Energy Network, and the Texas Young Lawyers
Association.
Ms. Funkhouser practices primarily in the firm’s office in The
Woodlands.
