Chris McKinney is a trial lawyer. He handles cases in all areas of litigation. Chris graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2002, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Business Management. Chris received his Juris Doctor cum laude from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2005. Chris was admitted to the Texas bar in 2005.

While in law school, Chris served as the Executive Director of the Moot Court Board and as an Articles Editor for the International Law Review Association, which publishes The International Lawyer and Law & Business Review of the Americas. During this time, Chris spent two semesters working in the SMU Civil Clinic as a student attorney, handling cases involving consumer rights and landlord/tenant disputes. Chris also completed internships with the Dallas County District Attorney in 2003 and the Hon. Marcia Crone, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Texas in 2004.

Chris practices primarily in the firm's office in Beaumont.
