Michael Jensen

Mike’s practice focuses on transactions, including business
law, real estate, wills and estate planning. He is also proficient in legal research and writing in varied areas, and he plays a
supporting role in general litigation.
He grew
up in Baytown, Texas, but graduated with a B.S.
cum laude from Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management in
2006.
He studied accounting, finance, information systems,
strategy, supply chain, marketing, and general business. He
has his J.D.
cum laude
from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School.
There he was vice president of the BYU Federalist Society, lead
articles editor for the International Law & Management Review, and
published in the Brigham Young University Law Review (cite: 2010
B.Y.U. L. Rev. 117).
Mike has
had good experiences with legal research and writing. He
interned for Justice Ronald Nehring at the Utah Supreme Court in the
summer of 2008. He also interned for Senior Judge Bruce
Jenkins at the United States District Court of Utah. In
addition, he has been a research assistant for two law professors
and a law clerk for two law firms. One of these was the
international law firm of Baker & McKenzie in the corporate practice
group of their Santiago, Chile office.
He is married to Alejandra Guerra-Jensen, a native
of Chile. He is fluent in Spanish.
