Real Estate Litigation
Our real estate litigation practice group represents plaintiff’s
and defendants in litigation involving disputes as to title to real
property, leases, eminent domain, and contracts for the sale and
purchase of land. It also handles contested zoning and land use
proceedings before administrative agencies and courts as well as
litigation over the mineral owner’s right to use the surface for
exploration and production and the relative rights of landowners and
the holders of pipeline easements. Hoke Peacock is one of a handful
of lawyers in Texas that is Board certified in both Civil Trial and
Commercial and Residential Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of
Legal Specialization and has served on the Examination Commission in
all three of those specialties.
