Stanley Plettman
Of Counsel
Stanley Plettman has a part-time general practice with emphasis on
wills, probate, trust matters, estate planning and land mineral
transactions. He received a bachelor's degree in Business with highest
honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1944, and his law
degree, with honors, in 1949 from the University of Texas School of
Law.
While attending the University of Texas School of Law, he was Grand
Chancellor, Editor-in-Chief of the Texas Law Review, and member of the
Order of the Coif.
Stanley came to the firm in 1949, and became a partner in 1952. He
has been of counsel since 1993.
Stanley is a former Chairman of the Business Law Section of the
Texas Bar Association, Texas Commissioner (Life Member) to the
National Conference of Uniform State Laws and a Fellow, American
College of Trusts and Estate Counsel.
